Garage clear outs, kitchen refits and garden overhauls are all common in Whitegate's semis, and our midi skip hire Whitegate service covers them. We deliver 4, 5 and 6 yard skips to homes across this part of Chadderton and the wider OL9 area. A midi gives more room than a mini while still fitting on a typical drive. Order on our 24/7 lines, and we will deliver at a time that suits, often same day where we can.
Most Whitegate semis need a 4 yard midi, holding around 40 bin bags, for a loft or garage clear out. The 5 yard is the usual pick for a kitchen or bathroom refit. For garden projects with soil or a small extension with some rubble, the 6 yard builders skip holds up to 65 bags. We are ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified and fully insured.
The midi range suits Whitegate well, because the area's semis produce plenty of medium jobs and most have a drive to take the skip. A 4 or 5 yard skip on private land needs no permit. It gives enough room for a refit, a garage clear out or a garden project, without paying for a builders skip you will not fill.

Whitegate's inter-war and post-war semis often have drives, garages and decent gardens. That makes midi skips a natural fit for jobs like replacing a kitchen, clearing a garage, emptying a loft or reworking a garden. Placed on the drive, a 4 or 5 yard skip needs no permit. Terraced homes with no off-road space need a permit from Oldham Council to put a skip on the street. Rubble from a small extension or a lifted patio is better suited to the 6 yard. Broadway is busy, and some estate roads are narrow with parked cars, so let us know about access.
We deliver midi skips throughout Whitegate and Chadderton, and Oldham Council is the authority that issues permits for skips on the road.

0161 724 7252How much a midi skip costs in Whitegate depends on the size, the weight of your waste and the hire period. Soil and rubble are heavier than household items. Most semis have a drive, so the permit charge often does not apply. We include delivery and collection. Phone 0161 724 7252 for your quote.
That depends on a number of factors, such as the size you require, how long you need it for, and the location and position that the skip will be delivered to. Contact us and get an accurate price quote for your Whitegate skip hire.
For a bathroom refit or a shed clear out, a 4 yard midi skip is usually enough. Go up to the 5 yard for kitchens and fuller loft clear outs, and choose the 6 yard builders skip if the job includes soil, brick or rubble. Tell us what the job is and we will recommend the right size.
Not if your Whitegate home has a drive, which most semis do. A midi skip on private land needs no permit. On the road, it needs one from Oldham Council, and we apply for it on your behalf. The fee varies from council to council, and we tell you the amount when you book.
Different councils charge different amounts but it generally costs between £30 and £50 for a permit to place a skip on a road. We confirm the current charge when you book.
This is of course entirely up to you, but the normal hire duration is between 1 and 14 days. If your skip is on the road you will need to check the length covered by your permit.
Bricks, hard core, rubble, soil (that isn’t contaminated), domestic waste such as packaging, furniture, furnishing, fixtures and non-electrical fittings, wood, metal and plastic. We cannot take asbestos, electricals, fridges, tyres, paint, gas bottles, batteries or liquids.
Call us to let us know you have finished with the skip. A driver will then come to collect, usually within 48 hours. The skip is then taken to our waste transfer station where it will be processed for recycling.
We will advise you on the cost to hire a skip, depending on where you require the skip delivery in Whitegate, what you plan to put in the skip, and how long you wish to have the skip for.
