Oldham's inter-war semis and newer estates see plenty of kitchen refits, loft clear outs and garden projects, and those jobs often call for something bigger than a mini. Our midi skip hire Oldham service delivers 4, 5 and 6 yard skips across OL1 and outlying districts such as Hathershaw, Moorside and Royton. Ring us 24/7 to book. Same day delivery is often possible where we have room on the round, and next day is offered.
In Oldham, the 4 yard midi holds around 40 bin bags, enough for a garage or loft clear out. A 5 yard, about 50 bags, suits a kitchen refit in a semi. For terrace renovations with some brick rubble, the 6 yard builders skip takes up to 65 bags. We are ISO 45001 certified for health and safety and fully insured.
A midi skip in Oldham handles the jobs that sit between a quick tidy and a full renovation. It fits on most semi drives in the outer districts, avoiding a permit, and on terraced streets it takes less road space than a builders skip. Everything from the job goes in one container. When it is full, one phone call arranges collection, usually within 48 hours.

Oldham's semis and newer estates in districts such as Hathershaw, Moorside and Royton often have drives that take a 4 or 5 yard midi skip without a permit. These homes commonly see kitchen and bathroom refits, garage and loft clear outs and garden projects. Closer to the town centre, terraces in Werneth, Coldhurst and Glodwick have no drive, so a midi skip goes on the road, with an Oldham Council permit that we arrange. Streets are often steep and lined with parked cars, so let us know about slopes and access. The 6 yard builders skip suits terrace renovations.
Midi skips are delivered right across Oldham, and road permits in the borough are issued by Oldham Council, which we apply to for you.

0161 724 7252Oldham midi skip prices depend on the size, 4 to 6 yard, how long you keep it and the weight of the waste. Terrace renovations with brick rubble weigh more than general household waste. If the skip goes on the road, the Oldham Council permit fee is added. Delivery and collection are included. Call 0161 724 7252 for a quote.
That depends on a number of factors, such as the size you require, how long you need it for, and the location and position that the skip will be delivered to. Contact us and get an accurate price quote for your Oldham skip hire.
For a bathroom refit or a shed clear out, a 4 yard midi skip is usually enough. Go up to the 5 yard for kitchens and fuller loft clear outs, and choose the 6 yard builders skip if the job includes soil, brick or rubble. Tell us what the job is and we will recommend the right size.
Oldham Council must approve a permit for any midi skip placed on the road, which is common outside terraced homes. On a drive or private land you need no permit. We handle the application, and the council's charge, which varies, is added to your hire.
Different councils charge different amounts but it generally costs between £30 and £50 for a permit to place a skip on a road. We confirm the current charge when you book.
This is of course entirely up to you, but the normal hire duration is between 1 and 14 days. If your skip is on the road you will need to check the length covered by your permit.
Bricks, hard core, rubble, soil (that isn’t contaminated), domestic waste such as packaging, furniture, furnishing, fixtures and non-electrical fittings, wood, metal and plastic. We cannot take asbestos, electricals, fridges, tyres, paint, gas bottles, batteries or liquids.
Call us to let us know you have finished with the skip. A driver will then come to collect, usually within 48 hours. The skip is then taken to our waste transfer station where it will be processed for recycling.
We will advise you on the cost to hire a skip, depending on where you require the skip delivery in Oldham, what you plan to put in the skip, and how long you wish to have the skip for.
