Farnworth homes of every age need kitchens, bathrooms and lofts bringing up to date sooner or later. Our midi skip hire Farnworth service brings 4, 5 and 6 yard skips to every part of BL4, from Moses Gate to Highfield and Harper Green. They are a good match for garage clear outs, small extensions and garden projects with some rubble. Book by phone 24/7, and delivery is often same day where we can.
Lofts and garages in Farnworth semis usually fit a 4 yard skip, which holds around 40 bin bags. A 5 yard suits a kitchen refit in a terrace, while the 6 yard builders skip copes with a bathroom strip out that includes old tiles and broken bricks. We are ISO 45001 certified for health and safety and fully insured.
A midi skip is the practical choice for most Farnworth refits. It takes the units, tiles and rubble from a kitchen or bathroom in one go, but stays small enough to sit outside a terrace without blocking the street. It also suits small extensions where an 8 yard skip would be too big for the space. Everything we collect is sorted for recycling.

Farnworth's older terraces near Market Street are often being refurbished from top to bottom, with new kitchens, bathrooms and stripped back rooms. Semis in Highfield, Harper Green and around Farnworth Park see garage conversions, loft clear outs and garden makeovers. A 5 or 6 yard midi skip suits both. Terraced streets rarely have drives, so the skip usually sits on the road outside, and a Bolton Council permit is needed. Semis can often take the skip on the drive with no permit. Access to the M61 makes it easy for our lorries to reach BL4, and we plan placement around narrow streets and parked cars.
Homes and small builders across Farnworth can order our midi skips, and Bolton Council grants the permit for any skip left on a public road.

01204 684680Three things decide the cost of a midi skip in Farnworth: the size, the weight of waste and the hire period. A 6 yard builders skip full of rubble will cost more than a 4 yard of loft clutter. Placing it on the road adds a Bolton Council permit charge. Delivery and collection are always included. Ring 01204 684680 for a quote.
That depends on a number of factors, such as the size you require, how long you need it for, and the location and position that the skip will be delivered to. Contact us and get an accurate price quote for your Farnworth skip hire.
For a bathroom refit or a shed clear out, a 4 yard midi skip is usually enough. Go up to the 5 yard for kitchens and fuller loft clear outs, and choose the 6 yard builders skip if the job includes soil, brick or rubble. Tell us what the job is and we will recommend the right size.
Any midi skip on a Farnworth road needs a permit from Bolton Council. If you have a drive or other private space, no permit is needed. We take care of the application so the skip can arrive when you need it. Charges vary from council to council, and we tell you the current Bolton fee before delivery.
Different councils charge different amounts but it generally costs between £30 and £50 for a permit to place a skip on a road. We confirm the current charge when you book.
This is of course entirely up to you, but the normal hire duration is between 1 and 14 days. If your skip is on the road you will need to check the length covered by your permit.
Bricks, hard core, rubble, soil (that isn’t contaminated), domestic waste such as packaging, furniture, furnishing, fixtures and non-electrical fittings, wood, metal and plastic. We cannot take asbestos, electricals, fridges, tyres, paint, gas bottles, batteries or liquids.
Call us to let us know you have finished with the skip. A driver will then come to collect, usually within 48 hours. The skip is then taken to our waste transfer station where it will be processed for recycling.
We will advise you on the cost to hire a skip, depending on where you require the skip delivery in Farnworth, what you plan to put in the skip, and how long you wish to have the skip for.
