Kitchen extensions, bathroom refits and loft clear outs are everyday work in Middleton, and a midi skip handles most of them. Our midi skip hire Middleton service supplies 4, 5 and 6 yard skips across M24, covering Alkrington, Langley, Rhodes, Boarshaw and Hopwood. We take orders by phone around the clock. Delivery is often same day where we can, or next day, and collection follows your call to say it is full.
In a Langley house, a bathroom refit suits a 4 yard midi, around 40 bin bags. A 5 yard, around 50 bags, is right for a kitchen in an Alkrington semi. If the job involves knocking through or lifting paving, the 6 yard builders skip takes up to 65 bags. We are Constructionline approved and ISO 9001 certified.
Middleton has many family homes in the middle of updates, and midi skips match that work well. A midi holds a full room of waste, from old units and doors to tiles and some rubble. It still fits on a standard drive in Alkrington or Rhodes, or in a single road space near the town centre. You get one tidy place for waste, and we collect promptly.

Middleton's family housing gives steady midi skip work. Alkrington's inter-war semis are often getting new kitchens and rear extensions. Langley's post-war homes are being modernised room by room, and Rhodes, Boarshaw and Hopwood add more semis and detached houses with gardens. Typical midi loads include a kitchen strip out, a bathroom suite, a garage clear out or waste from a garden makeover. Most semis have drives where a 6 yard skip fits. Terraced streets near the town centre usually need a road placement. Rochdale Council issues permits for skips on the road in Middleton, and we apply on your behalf.
Abbey delivers midi skips throughout Middleton and M24, with road permits issued by Rochdale Council and handled by our team.

0161 724 7252Midi skip hire in Middleton is priced on the size, the weight of the waste and the hire length. Heavier loads like rubble cost more to handle than light waste. A road placement adds a Rochdale Council permit charge. The hire includes delivery and collection. Ring 0161 724 7252 and we will quote for your project.
That depends on a number of factors, such as the size you require, how long you need it for, and the location and position that the skip will be delivered to. Contact us and get an accurate price quote for your Middleton skip hire.
For a bathroom refit or a shed clear out, a 4 yard midi skip is usually enough. Go up to the 5 yard for kitchens and fuller loft clear outs, and choose the 6 yard builders skip if the job includes soil, brick or rubble. Tell us what the job is and we will recommend the right size.
Placed on a drive in Middleton, a midi skip needs no permit. On the road, it needs a permit from Rochdale Council, which we apply for as part of the booking. Charges vary between councils, so we confirm the fee up front. Terraced streets near the town centre usually need a road permit.
Different councils charge different amounts but it generally costs between £30 and £50 for a permit to place a skip on a road. We confirm the current charge when you book.
This is of course entirely up to you, but the normal hire duration is between 1 and 14 days. If your skip is on the road you will need to check the length covered by your permit.
Bricks, hard core, rubble, soil (that isn’t contaminated), domestic waste such as packaging, furniture, furnishing, fixtures and non-electrical fittings, wood, metal and plastic. We cannot take asbestos, electricals, fridges, tyres, paint, gas bottles, batteries or liquids.
Call us to let us know you have finished with the skip. A driver will then come to collect, usually within 48 hours. The skip is then taken to our waste transfer station where it will be processed for recycling.
We will advise you on the cost to hire a skip, depending on where you require the skip delivery in Middleton, what you plan to put in the skip, and how long you wish to have the skip for.
